Threes & Combos:

Our three-year-old preschool is taught by NC licensed teachers and utilizes a very exciting Creative Curriculum. We offer many diverse and elaborate activities to further foster your child’s creativity and exploration. Teachers in this age group plan activities that are specifically aimed at age appropriate outcomes as well as teaching new concepts all the while.

Teachers base lesson plans on activities and ideas that children in their class find interesting and fun. Ideas are integrated throughout your child’s day and play activities by adding new materials and games. These activities may include the use of field trips to demonstrate real-world applications of topics they are learning about. Parents are encouraged to share materials, volunteer in the classroom and participate in field trips with your child. For Kids Only accepts private paying families as well as DSS funded families in this program.

What makes learning fun? Exciting and hands-on activities, our preschool classrooms are geared for making a day of learning as much fun as possible while preparing your child for their kindergarten experience. A big part of kindergarten is being reading ready. To help children to become familiar with the reading process and the importance of words and language we opt for an environmental print approach. Including environmental print in the classroom creates early reading excitement in children and encourages them to expand their reading/writing knowledge.

Our NC Licensed teachers ensure each day is a new learning experience your child will not want to miss. The classroom environment is transformed with each new topic….. you may encounter a jungle this month and a planet in outer space the next!! Our center collaborates with Brunswick County Smart Start to fund the NC Pre-k program so there is no charge to families whose children are enrolled in these classes. We also accept private paying families and DSS funded families as well.
