Infant & Toddler Care
Infant Care
Our Infant Program accepts children from 6 weeks to one year of age. Our highly trained and qualified staff are all NC certified and have over 20 years of experience working and caring for infants. The infants have both indoor and outside play areas that offer many opportunities which foster gross motor, social and cognitive development. The teachers are aware that each infant has unique needs and adjusts their activities to meet these accordingly. Teachers spend the day interacting with the children by nurturing, talking and singing with the children in a warm and attentive manner. Individualized attention is guaranteed by our low staff/child ratios that meet enhance NC child care licensed standards. For Kids Only accepts private paying families as well as DSS funded families in this program.

Toddler Care
In the Toddler Program our highly trained staff provide structured play that allows children from the ages of 12 to 24 months to grow and develop naturally in safe environments that include both inside and outside areas. Toddlers are exposed to an array of developmentally appropriate toys and materials as well as daily opportunities to explore and learn. Teachers sing and read to children throughout the day as well as verbally labeling common objects which helps to develop their vocabulary. Early self-help skills are introduced and hand-eye coordination is a focus thru the many fun filled daily activities. For Kids Only accepts private paying families as well as DSS funded families in this program.

Twos:
Two year olds are full of energy and love to explore. Our classrooms are set up to encourage and facilitate this growth stage as well as channel learning through developmentally appropriate activities such as play time, music, art, gross motor games and outside play. Our teachers are especially trained and certified in working with this age group so they understand the needs of children at this stage of development well. Both social and self-help skills are an important part of development for this age group. Teachers encourage independence and self-reliant skills such as potty training, monitored independent hand washing, and sharing with their friends. For Kids Only accepts private paying families as well as DSS funded families in this program.
